Poker Tournament: Still grinding it out
Posted by Curtom | November 20, 2007 | Posted in: News |Well, I am still struggling a bit. I got in with pocket TT’s vs. 88’s right before the money. An eight hit on the flop and out the door I go again. A $7000 pot down the drain. Another bad beat for the record books. I have been accumulating massive chips in my last 4 tournaments only to reach the money to get bad beat out of the tournament. So I am playing exceptionally well and my reads have been right on the money despite having to suck it up taking some tough beats. So, no changes will be made in my game whatsoever. If only the cards would cooperate and see the pure “genius” of my play.
LOL
When you’re playing well continue to do so through the bad beats. Otherwise, you’re asking for trouble. Why add to the misery with poor play on top of everything else? If you choose to do that your opponents really do have a reason to get in a pot with you. Once they start seeing you no longer are in with the best hand you become the hunted instead of the hunter.
Not good.
Deuces,
