Kill Phil Poker Book Review
Posted by Curtom | July 7, 2008 | Posted in: Articles, Reviews, Strategy |If good poker tournament strategy is what you are looking for then Kill Phil is the book for you. It’s written by well known poker professional Blair Rodman and Lee Jones. This particular poker strategy book focuses on playing in poker tournaments. It also is meant to be used by those that are not professionals against skilled poker players.
There is a definitive approach to this book and that is to take the bat out of the hands of the “professional” players by constantly putting them to the test. The bottom line is that aggressive poker is winning poker and there is no lack of aggression within these pages. If you are not used to pushing your stack in the middle before reading this book you will be afterwards. This kind of poker strategy pushes the edge of any coin flip situations in order to maximize the fold equity against your opponents. A very good read and certainly a book I would recommend for players of any skill level.
