Be Prepared to Win at Poker
Posted by Curtom | July 13, 2008 | Posted in: Articles, Strategy | Comments (0)There is a glaring difference in attitudes of a winning poker player and a losing one. Aside from the skill sets there is a difference in mindset. A winning poker player always believes he will prevail no matter what the circumstances may look like or whom they are playing against.
A losing poker player will always find a reason to be unhappy at the table. They seem to have an excuse for just about everything from the cards they get to the seat they were assigned at the table. Losing players always talk about losing and how painful it is.
Before you sit down in any poker tournament or cash game make sure your attitude is one of confidence and assurance. You have to believe in yourself and your circumstances before you can sit down and actually reap the benefits of that faith. If not, you are setting yourself up for failure and we all know there is plenty of that to go around in a poker room.
