Yes, you heard me correctly. A new site called Player GPS is now running in Beta and they will send you alerts when your favorite online poker player is logged in and playing. For now they are tracking Full Tilt and Pokerstars but they have been approved for just about all of the popular online poker rooms. This is a really cool site with a great service for those of us that like to watch our favorite online poker pros play.

The registration is free as a trial version until June 1st. After that they will begin to bill although there are no specifics on how much at this time. The alerts are sent out in two ways. First, there is SMS text messages to your cell phone. Second, they can email you. That just about covers everything in our technology driven society in terms of communicating with people – especially poker players.
