Will Annie Duke win Celebrity Apprentice?

Posted by Curtom | May 4, 2009 | Posted in: Articles, News | Comments (4)

It’s down to the nitty gritty and Annie Duke has manipulated and conned her way down to the final five players with her nemesis Joan Rivers still in the mix. This has been a very interesting season of CA and a lot of crazy things have taken place but the most interesting people to watch have been Joan and Melissa Rivers and Annie Duke. Joan and Melissa have both proven to have absolutely no class and each is extremely insecure and threatened by any woman with good looks. On the other hand Duke has come across as arrogant and narcissistic as she talks down to practically everyone as if she knows everything about everything.

The one thing that bothers me about the show is that Duke constantly calls on her poker buddies to bail her out on money earning tasks and therefor she always has an advantage over other celebrities that do not operate that way. Most people, even celebrities, don’t constantly call their friends asking for cash even if it is for charity. So, if this show is all about raising money then Duke has a considerable edge over the other contestants. Time will tell I suppose as their are a few more episodes left before a winner is declared.

Stay tuned!

I picked her a long time ago to come in second, my reason being that she has more to gain from this than anyone else on the show. I think when it comes down to it, joan is just much more well rounded so she might be slight favorite. All depends on what they have to do to win. I think Joan could probably out-raise annie in fundraising if she had to.

Hey Mark! We are going to find out how this goes down real soon. The finale ought to be a great show with these two being arch rivals.

I think the game was rigged! Annie should have won, hands down! Is it any coincidence that the charity Joan played for has Trump’s sister-in-law, Blaine, serving as vice-chair? Or that Mark Burnett hired Joan for a new reality TV series? Looks to me like the whole season was just a set-up to hand Rivers a golden bone.

Andy, I still have not watched the last episode yet but it sounds like you may have a point judging from people reactions. I don’t care for either one for various reasons. However, the rant that Joan went on last week displayed a serious lack of class. Joan is still living in the stone ages if she thinks poker is some back room game with seedy gamblers and bad guys. Those days are long gone and so are Joans looks.
