WSOP Online Satellite Winners get raw deal

Posted by Curtom | June 18, 2009 | Posted in: Articles, News, Poker Tournament | Comments (6)

It looks like when the US government seized the banks operations they also seized the entries into the 2009 WSOP for many of the online qualifiers. Players from both Full Tilt and Pokerstars have complained about difficulty entering the tournaments they won entry into via satellites.

Although not surprising it is disappointing that things have gone this far. The trickery and energy spent devising ways to prevent people from spending their time playing poker is amazing.

Don’t we have bigger fish to fry in Washington? I’m just say’in…

Its our own fault. You get the government you deserve. When you vote in the same idiots year after year, they begin to feel they are rulers rather than representatives.
You want dictators? We must…we voted for them.

That sucks. Im waiting on a payment from carbon poker that has been more than a month, and they just told me via live support it might be as much as 8 more weeks.

Yeah, another friend of mine said he just received his check from PokerStars. It took a little longer than normal but he was able to cash it no problem.
