Is Barry Shulman a jerk?

Yes, you heard me correctly. Is Barry Shulman a jerk? If you are not familiar with Barry Shulman he is the cankerous publisher of Card Player magazine. Barry also just won the WSOPE Main Event and appears to be a little full of himself if those reporting about his behavior are to be believed. I read a thread recently about how he was abusing other players and the dealer at a Caesars Palace $500 event. This was taking place when they made correct plays against him. Everyone was always wrong except Barry Shulman. That’s pretty sad and reeks of degenerative behavior. Now I can completely understand why Jeff Shulman is a jerk.

Don’t you just get the feeling that Shulman Jr is going to win the Main Event final, just to wind us all up even more?

Thanks for commenting LAZ. The thought has crossed my mind for sure. Hopefully Shulman gets a “clue” before he sits down to play the final table. I kinda doubt it based on the things I have heard about his dad.

I’ve known Barry since he was a kid, unfortunately he doesn’t have a lot of soul and has not developed as he might have done but he is not without animal cunning – if he could develop a little more as a human being and give a little thought to the feelings of others I’m sure that he would be able to live a more fulfilled life, at the moment Barry is always in the state of getting as oposed to being hopefully this will change.
