Thanks for the comment HAC. No, Barry and I have never met. However, aside from my posts there are NUMEROUS accounts of Barry behaving poorly at the poker table. That is not to say that indeed he may be a decent guy away from the tables. Unfortunately, my post is regarding an incident that took place at the tables in a $500-buy in at Caesars. My post never said that Barry can't play poker as you infered. My post never said he was not a succesful business man or unhappy either. My post is what it is and I stand by it as do several others that have played with, witnessed and written about his escapades at the poker table and this event.

Scotty Nguyen seems to be a great guy too. However, he had a ridiculously bad "jerk" moment in the H.O.R.S.E event a few years ago. So we should all just turn our heads because he is usually a nice guy? I don't think so. The bottom line is that there is no reason to be a jerk at the table and by all accounts Barry was in this particular tournament.

Life is good on this end. Not sure why you would suggest otherwise. Good luck to you and thanks for reading Do or Die Poker.

wow, you sure seem to know Barry well LOL. Thats a sarcastic comment obviously. Barry Shulman is one of the nicest people in the poker industry I have had anything to do with and i speak to a lot of people. He is an outstanding player, CEO and manager. As for living a fulfilled life: I am guessing you are not having a blast alike Barry is in any time soon nor winning 90k as you do so. Barry is currently kicking back (again) cruising the world with his stunning wife doing as he pleases and very happily. If thats not fulfilled hmm? I dunno what is - sounds pretty good to me!

I've known Barry since he was a kid, unfortunately he doesn't have a lot of soul and has not developed as he might have done but he is not without animal cunning - if he could develop a little more as a human being and give a little thought to the feelings of others I'm sure that he would be able to live a more fulfilled life, at the moment Barry is always in the state of getting as oposed to being hopefully this will change.

Thanks for commenting LAZ. The thought has crossed my mind for sure. Hopefully Shulman gets a "clue" before he sits down to play the final table. I kinda doubt it based on the things I have heard about his dad.
